Who Owns This and How It Is Funded

GlazingPost is owned and operated by Yevhenii Kuznietsov, who is also a co-founder of Installix Windows & Doors, a commercial glazing contractor in the Greater Toronto Area — a company inside the industry this publication covers. The site carries no advertising and has no revenue. Full detail is on the ownership page.

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage and we do not sell links. Directory listings are free and are not sold; a listing has no bearing on coverage.

How Articles Are Produced

Every GlazingPost article follows the same five-step process:

  1. Story selection. We monitor a standing list of around 50 Canadian and international glazing, fenestration and construction news feeds, and select stories that matter to people working in the Canadian glazing industry.
  2. Reading the primary source. The source article, standard, filing or release is fetched and read in full before anything is written. We do not write from headlines or feed summaries.
  3. Drafting from that source. A language model drafts the article from the fetched source text, naming sources in the body of the article and linking the original.
  4. Automated verification, within stated limits. The draft's direct quotes and figures are looked for in the fetched source text, and a draft whose claims cannot be located is rewritten or dropped. The check deliberately excludes short quoted phrases, bare years in the current decade and single-digit numbers, and a figure that appears in the source for an unrelated reason will pass. It catches invention, not misattribution.
  5. Publication, with nobody in between. The article is published on a schedule. No person reads it before it goes live.

Sourcing Standards

Articles are reported from primary sources: standards and code documents, regulatory filings, company and association announcements, government statistics, and the original reporting of other publications. Sources are named in the body of the article and linked, so a reader can go and check the original.

We do not publish quotes we have not seen in a source document, and we do not attribute statements to people who did not make them. We do not currently use anonymous sources; if that changes, this policy will change with it.

AI Assistance Disclosure

GlazingPost uses AI tools in its editorial workflow, and is explicit about where:

  • A language model drafts article text from source material that has been fetched and read first. The model works from that source text, not from its own recollection.
  • An automated check looks for the draft's direct quotes and numeric claims in the fetched source before the draft is accepted, subject to the exclusions listed above.
  • No person reads an article before it is published. There is no newsroom, no reporters and no editorial staff. Errors are therefore found after publication rather than before it, which is why the corrections route below matters more here than it would at a staffed publication.
  • Article cover images are typographic designs generated from the headline and category of the piece. They are editorial illustrations and are never photographs of the events, places or people described.

Accountability for what is published sits with the publication and its owner, named above. See Editorial Team for how the byline works.

Corrections Policy

When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and say so.

Substantive factual corrections are made to the article and carry a correction notice identifying what changed and when. Minor corrections (spelling, grammar, formatting) are made without a notice. We do not delete articles to resolve a complaint.

To report an error, contact: editor@glazingpost.ca. Corrections already made are listed on the corrections page.

Outbound Links

Articles link to their sources and, where useful to the reader, to other industry websites. GlazingPost does not sell links, does not run paid placements inside articles, and does not accept payment to link to any site. Any link to a company the owner has an interest in carries rel="nofollow" and is disclosed; the publishing pipeline refuses to publish an article carrying an unqualified one.
